Harvesting is done using a codex and an expansion and results in a new codex. During harvesting, the expansion is scanned, root to leaf, left to right. For each construct encountered, the harvester looks up the 'definition' aspect of the construct in the old codex. If the construct is proclaimed as 'proclaim', 'define', or 'introduce' in the old codex, then a proclamation, definition, or introduction, respectively, is entered in the new codex. If the construct is proclaimed as 'hide' then the harvester will not traverse its subterms. The harvester does not traverses subterms of proclamations, definitions, and introductions either. In all other cases, the harvester will traverse the subterms.
