At the time of writing, Logiweb uses Logiweb protocol version 1. At the time of writing, no other versions have been defined. As long as RIPEMD-160 stands up against collision attacks there seem to be no reason to define new versions. Hence, each and every Logiweb reference starts with a byte whose value is one.
