Origin: lgc. Landing-place: terminal.
When lgc(1) searches a page by reference, it expresses the reference in mixed endian hexadecimal and then substitutes the reference for the rightmost colon of each path element to get a possible URL of the page. Likewise, when lgc searches a page by name, it substitutes the name for the rightmost colon of each pathname element. Thus, lgc must complain if a path or namepath element contains no colon.
